Pine Road is a rural road in the Village of Kronenwetter. The roadway had poor drainage due to the flat terrain. MTS provided services to collect topographic data, prepare construction plans, prepare and submit a storm water management plan to the Wisconsin DNR, prepare public bid documents, collect bids, contract administration, assist in grant application process, and construction monitoring. The end product increased drainage while incorporating existing driveway grades and improved road substructure.
Dunnow Street Reconstruction – Village of Athens
Dunnow Street is an urban street in the Village of Athens. The existing roadway had deteriorated and was patched several times. The Village wanted to add a sidewalk to one side for safety pedestrian traffic. The roadway had a super-elevated cross-section to account for the grade change from one side to the other. MTS provided services to prepare construction plans, prepare public bid documents, collect bids, contract administration, and construction monitoring. The end product increased drainage while incorporating existing driveway grades, new sidewalk, and improved road substructure.
Town of Ringle – 2nd Avenue Reconstruction
2nd Avenue was an urban street, a section of Old State Highway 29, in the Town of Ringle. The existing roadway was blacktop over concrete, had no curb and gutter, and poor drainage. MTS provided services to prepare construction plans, storm water management plan, prepare public bid documents, collect bids, contract administration, and construction monitoring. The end product increased drainage while incorporating existing driveway grades, and improved road substructure.
